 It
is not important to the scope of this web-page that you know
my entire life-story, but it is worth noting that my life
has been a great launching pad for all my current endeavors,
including my writings and recordings.
Suffice
it to say that like many of you, I grew up in a little town,
progressed through school, went to college, fell in love-
did all the things that we humans do. It is important for
me to mention, as well, that from an early age I was encouraged
by my parents, both intellectuals, to read voraciously, and
to become a life-long seeker of truth.
And
so I have.
I
believe my purpose (as I currently understand it) is to uplift,
cheer, heal and support readers and listeners through the
arts.
I
am a writer, artist, illustrator, poet, musician, performer,
lecturer, composer, orchestrator, and recording artist. (In
short, a free-lance human being!) I believe that God and I
decided, before my soul incarnated here on earth, that I would
use these abilities to help others in the world.
My
life seems to go in eight-year cycles. For the first eight
years after college I used the above abilities to teach and
educate others in a variety of ways. Then for eight years
used those skills to perform over 5000 inspirational, live,
musical programs for elders in the various settings in which
they reside.
Now,
at the direction of Spirit, I am in the midst of a new mode
(perhaps it will be eight years, perhaps longer!) In this
new phase, I continue to perform for the elderly, but I also
work more at home. My work at home includes teaching students
of all ages art, crafts, piano, voice, guitar and music composition.
As well, I am providing life coaching and spiritual counseling
for clients. My studio, which I have called Creative Cocoon,
is, though a physically small space, quite versatile. In it,
I am able to teach, counsel and create. My own publishing
company, Music Outreach Publishing, and its three websites,
completes the picture, allowing me to create books, recordings
and videos, thus helping me to touch the lives of people all
over the world.
 I
hope you enjoy all the books and recordings on this site,
which are designed to delight, aid and uplift people of all
ages. Creating, publishing and offering these materials is
my way of positively affecting lives all over the world with
messages of love, healing, and joy through music and the spoken
and written word. From this desire comes the title of this
website, Abundant Change. I hope my creations can be a catalyst
for readers and listeners to search, grow, and be open to
abundance of all things good and love-filled!
The
books, recordings and videos I have created for Abundant Change
are a synthesis of many things I have learned and come to
appreciate during the course of my life's journey. They are
in integral part of the way I hope to complete the new direction
in my life and work. With so many negative messages being
put forth in the world through media of all sorts, it is my
sincere hope that many of the things published in my materials
may resonate with you and uplift you. I hope they will be
of help to you and cheer you, as you move along your own life
path.
